This role is responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating a diverse range of events that support Bond University’s marketing, recruitment, and engagement goals. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the position ensures seamless event execution, manages logistics and budgets, and contributes to strategic projects that enhance the University’s reputation and outreach.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented event professional with strong organisational and communication skills. They thrive in fast-paced environments, collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and are committed to delivering high-quality, impactful events that align with strategic goals.
Normal working hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.30 am – 4.15 pm on Friday. Flexibility is required to accommodate event schedules, including occasional after-hours work and weekend work.
About the person
The ideal applicant will have:
- A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in event management
- Relevant qualification in Events or Project Management, Marketing, or Public Relations.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to work independently and within a team
- Experience with Event systems, budget management, and agile methods
- High attention to detail and professionalism in protocol-driven settings
- Understanding of higher education programs, policies, and WHS principles
Salary details
The salary for the position commences at $80,787.14 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
