- Role based in Parramatta/Sydney or Lismore (other locations negotiable), with flexible/hybrid working environment.
- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $149,739 - $173,174 + superannuation.
About the role
As Executive Officer, you’ll provide high-level executive, secretariat, and project support to ensure the smooth operation of the CEO’s office and the broader Executive team. You will also:
- Prepare, manage, and review high-level communications including briefings, reports, submissions, and notes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Executive, liaising with stakeholders and coordinating responses to meet critical deadlines.
- Implement, monitor, and report on strategic, operational, and project plans to support informed decision-making.
- Research and prepare strategic advice and reports on complex policy, planning, and operational matters.
- Provide proactive issues management and resolution to minimise organisational risk.
- Lead or contribute to projects aligned with organisational objectives.
- Develop and refine administrative systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality outcomes.
- Manage the CEO’s diary, events, and inbox, ensuring seamless coordination and prioritisation.
- Facilitate briefing materials and coordinate the drafting and dispatch of CEO correspondence.
- Serve as secretariat for the NSW RA Executive Committee.
About You
You are a highly organised and forward-thinking professional with demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and executive-level support. You also have:
- Demonstrated experience in executive, secretariat, and project support roles
- Exceptional written communication skills with a strong eye for detail
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
- Experience in coordinating high-level correspondence and managing sensitive information
- A strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and provide timely, relevant advice
- Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Essential requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
