Role Overview
If you love to travel and have strong FMCG sales experience, particularly in the Independent Grocery channel then this is a role to consider. You will join a passionate team and work alongside fellow Associates as a Mars Petcare ambassador ensuring professional representation and outstanding availability of our products in this territory spanning from Port Macquarie to Bathurst and west to Cobar. Regular overnight travel is an integral component of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain mutual customer relationships throughout your territory.
Proactively manage trade expenditure to deliver against your sales targets.
Execute promotional plans in store to maximise sales and brand presence, while collaborating with your customers to identify new growth opportunities.
Ensure all national programs are executed within your territory and proactively communicating on compliance issues.
Ensure product availability in all accounts as per the agreed channel or account plans.
Manage Point of Sale (POS) ordering, storage and waste minimization.
Action consumer and customer feedback in a timely manner.
Actively contribute and participate in team engagement activities and meetings.
Deliver against key performance indicators including territory coverage, distribution, share of shelf, off location displays and turn in orders.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor in Business, Marketing or other related discipline preferred but not essential.
Ideally you will have 3+ years’ experience in FMCG sales with a history of exceeding sales targets.
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build strong and influential relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Previous experience working with KPI’s and exceeding allocated targets
Proven track record of creative problem solving & delivering results.
Driven, self-reliant and resilient, able to respond and adapt to a fast moving, swiftly changing environment.
