The Role
Seeking a Finance Administrator based at our Subiaco Office supporting the Corporate Finance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for processing financial data and ensuring that all information is accurately entered into our systems. You will need to have a strong eye for detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude is also important, as you will be working closely with our team and communicating with other departments.
This a permanent Monday to Friday position and an opportunity to gain further experience and career progression within SRG Global.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with treasury related functions including;
- Daily payment approval
- Daily cash tracker update
- Liaising with operation and financier to prepare, review and execute bonds and bank guarantees, and reconcile the listing to statements monthly
- Provide assistance for audits and other financial reviews
- Provide assistance for tax lodgement requirements, including income tax and fringe benefits tax (“FBT”)
- Perform administrative tasks related to finance, including data entry
- Maintain financial records and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Process invoices, purchase orders, receipts and other financial data
- Assist in the month-end reporting process.
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with capital purchase process including financing the purchase with the bank
- To assist the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team.
- Assist with accounts queries where possible
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Attention to detail and good record-keeping skills
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills;
- Mining or construction industry experience; (preferred, but not essential)
- Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork
- A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment
- Studying towards accountancy qualification (preferred but not essential)
