About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our Commercial Supply Chain & Operations team and support the Oceania Supply Chain processes.
As the Finance Analyst Supply Chain, you will drive business improvement through commercial insight, collaboration, and financial discipline.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial – Oceania Supply Chain & Capital, you will work closely with the senior management supply chain teams across both Australia and NZ to achieve key performance objectives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure that all local and corporate reporting requirements meet deadlines and that the various functions are conversant with the accounting systems, policies and procedures, budget and forecast tasks for their areas of responsibility.
- Provide the necessary commercial support, insight, and challenge to the Logistics & Warehouse teams.
- Focus on the key value drivers related to operational effectiveness, capital effectiveness and recovery maximisation.
- Support the improvement in core controls and compliance.
- Provide general financial and commercial analysis and support to the Supply Chain function as required.
Based at our Richmond office (free parking) this role will see you operating within a hybrid work model, with work-from-home (WFH) flexibility.
About You
You demonstrate a strong ability to assimilate and analyse complex information from disparate sources and provide sound, well-reasoned decisions.
You work collaboratively, display an open, honest communication style and strong communication skills, with the ability to relate to, communicate with, a wide range of stakeholders and to understand the issues facing them.
Key to your success in this role will be your high attention to detail, strong accountability, and ownership, teamed with your ability to develop solutions and resilience.
You will also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commercial or financial management or other relevant discipline.
- 2-3 years of relevant working experience in an Analyst / Senior Analyst role.
- Commercial experience in a FMCG manufacturing or large operating environment.
- Site/manufacturing Finance or Supply Chain Finance experience.
- Strong Excel modelling and written skills.
