About the Opportunity

People and Culture are excited to partner with our Finance discipline to announce a new growth opportunity to elevate talent, learning and development within FCTG’s global Finance community! As we continue to strengthen our professional capability across the business, this newly created Global Finance L&D Specialist role will play a pivotal part in driving the next chapter of talent growth, engagement and excellence in the Finance function.
This is a rare opportunity to shape and deliver future-focused learning experiences for our finance teams across the globe. From financial operations and accounting to commercial strategy, you’ll partner with senior finance stakeholders to build a fit-for-purpose learning strategy that supports both individual development and broader business success.
In addition to internal capability building, the role will also work closely with universities and institutions to create graduate pathways, amplify FCTG’s presence in the early careers space, and position us as an employer of choice for those seeking a career in finance.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for learning, a strong understanding of the finance profession, and the ability to connect strategy with practical, high-impact learning solutions. If you’re ready to shape how we grow financial talent at scale — and help define what great looks like in finance at FCTG — we’d love to hear from you.

What you will be doing:
Learning & Development
  • Partner with Finance leaders to identify skill gaps and develop targeted learning programs across all levels — from entry-level to leadership
  • Design and deliver engaging learning experiences aligned with and utilising FCTG learning methodologies and instructional design principles
  • Develop and manage a robust, multi-tiered learning offering tailored to Finance roles, including financial operations, commercial finance and analysts
  • Leverage digital learning tools and platforms to enhance accessibility and engagement across regions
  • Measure and analyse learning effectiveness, using data insights to continuously improve programs
  • Maintain an intermediate to advanced fluency in key learning systems, diagnostics, and design tools
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovations to enhance learning effectiveness and capability development
Talent Development & Growth
  • Create career development pathways for Finance employees, mapping current and future capabilities to role progression opportunities
  • Support talent mobility by facilitating mentorship and cross-functional learning initiatives
  • Collaborate with L&D, talent, and leadership peers to align learning programs with broader retention and succession strategies
  • Lead and support initiatives to identify and develop high-potential Finance employees for future leadership roles
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
  • Work closely with Finance leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into relevant learning and development strategies
  • Collaborate with external learning providers and industry experts to strengthen and diversify the Finance learning offering
  • In addition to internal capability building, work closely with universities and institutions to create graduate pathways, amplify FCTG’s presence in the early careers space, and position us as an employer of choice for those seeking a career in finance
  • Act as a champion for continuous learning and growth within the Finance function, fostering a strong development culture

What you will need:

Essential

  • Qualifications (eg CPA) or equivalent experience in an Enterprise Finance role
