About the Role
Position: Finance & Office Administrator
Are you a detail-driven finance professional who thrives on accuracy and enjoys keeping operations running smoothly? We’re looking for a Finance & Office Administrator to support our Gisborne operations. This is a hands-on role with ownership across Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, journals in Oracle, and month-end activities, alongside general office administration.
Location: Gisborne
Status: Full-time position working Monday to Friday
Your job duties would be:
- Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing and proactive follow-ups.
- Perform bank reconciliations and process journal entries in Oracle.
- Assist with month-end reporting and financial reconciliations.
- Prepare Profit & Loss reports and support reporting for Senior Management decision-making.
- Support the General Manager and Senior Management with accounting queries and administrative operations.
- Provide assistance and cover for Accounts Payable as required.
- Carry out general administrative duties—filing, maintaining records, and document control.
You will also need to:
- Bring proven experience in finance and administration roles.
- Be proficient with accounting software (Oracle experience advantageous) and Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with a variety of stakeholders.
