About the Role
As the Finance Officer, you will work closely with the company’s leadership team and accountant to ensure accurate financial management, reporting, and compliance across the organisation. You will also be responsible for overseeing payroll, contracts, insurance, and project reporting, while ensuring all processes meet regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prepare BAS submissions and ensure compliance with ATO requirements.
- Handle superannuation processing and compliance.
- Manage payroll processing and reporting.
- Track and process creditors and debtors.
- Manage insurance renewals, claims, and documentation.
- Assist with project contract management and financial documentation.
- Prepare accurate financial reports for the leadership team and accountant
- Oversee project reporting and budget tracking.
- Maintain and update work health and safety (WHS) documentation and management.
- Utilise MYOB (minimum 7 years’ experience required) for all financial processes.
- Work extensively with the Microsoft Suite, including SharePoint and OneDrive for document management and reporting.
About You
You are detail-oriented, proactive, and bring strong problem-solving skills. With extensive experience in MYOB and a solid understanding of financial compliance, you are confident in managing complex financial processes while supporting the broader business.

Essential Criteria
- Minimum 7 years’ experience with MYOB.
- Knowledge of BAS, ATO requirements, and superannuation.
- Proven experience in finance reporting to leadership and accountants.
- Strong skills in insurance management, contracts, payroll, and WHS documentation.
- Experience with creditors/debtors management and project reporting.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated experience in SharePoint and OneDrive.
