The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Finance Officer to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Support the delivery of meaningful budgets, forecasts, variance analysis and reports
Understand the requirements for policy, systems, processes and culture to operate in an Activity Based Funding environment
Assist in the development and maintenance of procedures for capturing of cost and pricing data
Under guidance, provide decision support for negotiation, reporting and amendment processes
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
While not mandatory, experience in a health care setting in a financial, business and operational environment would be highly regarded
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Temporary full time (6 months with possibility of extension)
Base salary ranging from $3481.60 - $3835.70 per fortnight
About Us
The Financial Services (S) Division supports Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) by providing expert and timely financial services. The Division is made up of Divisional Finance Teams, Financial Reporting and Compliance, Financial Performance, Commercial Innovation and Performance Analysis and Reporting Unit. This role is based within the Divisional Finance Team for Corporate 2 Services.
