We’re a newly opened Japanese izakaya-style restaurant bringing authentic flavours, warm hospitality, and contemporary flair to Melbourne CBD. We’re now on the hunt for a passionate and experienced Front of House Manager to lead our service team and help shape a dining experience that blends omotenashi with Melbourne’s modern dining scene.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service
- Manage reservations, guest experiences, and daily FOH operations
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service
- Drive training, culture, and service standards
- Handle rostering, stock levels, and end-of-day reports
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in FOH management, ideally in Japanese or high-end dining
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine, sake, and izakaya-style service a big plus
- Calm under pressure, excellent with people, and detail-oriented
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Full Australian working rights
