We’re hiring a Front of House Supervisor to help lead the service team at our newly opened Japanese izakaya — a warm, energetic space celebrating authentic flavours, sake, and the spirit of omotenashi.
This is a hands-on role perfect for someone with strong floor presence, attention to detail, and a natural flair for hospitality. You’ll support the FOH Manager in creating memorable guest experiences and help guide the team during busy services.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise daily FOH operations and support a smooth, efficient service
- Lead by example during busy shifts — managing sections, delegating tasks, and stepping in where needed
- Train and mentor junior staff in service etiquette and product knowledge
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organised dining space
- Handle guest feedback with professionalism and positivity
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a supervisor or senior waitstaff role (Japanese or modern Asian dining is a bonus)
- Strong communication and leadership on the floor
- Passion for Japanese food, drink, and culture (or a willingness to learn)
- Calm and confident under pressure
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
