What you'll do
Design, configure and test SAP in accordance with strict information system standards and documentation requirements.
Train users of SAP in accordance with the adopted functionality and operating procedures.
Document system configuration, technical specifications and procedures ensuring that they are maintained, reflect best practice for user requirements and appropriately comply with recognised Departmental and Government accounting and human resource policies.
Liaise with clients to solve problems that arise in the SAP systems in a timely manner.
Proactively assess the effectiveness of the SAP system and liaise closely with stakeholders to recommend modifications to improve system effectiveness.
Implement updates and upgrades of the SAP system, write specifications for ABAP programming and document user requirements.
About you
We are searching for someone with:
Demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills in SAP HR in Organisational Management, Payroll (preferably Australian-based system), HR to Fi/Co integration, Time Management, Personnel Administration, CATS, ESS/MSS.
Proven experience in formulating, documenting and implementing functional and technical specifications including sound knowledge of current technical trends, including systems integrations and service-orientated architecture.
Demonstrated extensive experience in the support and configuration of large scale HR SAP Solutions. The product set for QH HR includes SAP, Workbrain and Finance/Controlling (Fi/Co).
Demonstrated knowledge of relevant payroll legislation and award structures in Government.
High level of written and verbal communication skills and the ability to consult and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders on complex business requirements and transfer knowledge to team members and clients.
