Head Baker – Full-Time
Danny's Artisan Bakery
Danny’s Artisan Bakery is seeking a passionate and experienced Head Baker to lead our baking team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced artisan bakery environment and is ready to take ownership of daily production, product development, and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of artisan products, including sourdough breads, bagels, and brioche
- Shape with precision and consistency
- Maintain product quality and consistency across all batches
- Manage inventory and ingredient ordering
- Supervise and support team members during production shifts
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Occasionally deliver bread dough to our second location (driver’s license required)
Schedule:
Full-time (5 days/week)
Shift: 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Must be available to work one weekend day
Requirements:
- Previous professional baking experience (sourdough and artisan bread preferred)
- Ability to work independently and lead a small team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Valid driver’s license (for occasional deliveries)
