About the role!
We are seeking a highly capable, hands-on Head of ICTto lead our information and communication technology function. This is a standalone role, with the support of an outsourced IT support provider. The role is responsible for shaping and delivering our digital environment to enhance collaboration, streamline operations, and support strategic growth. You’ll be the go-to person for all things tech—managing infrastructure, guiding digital transformation, and empowering staff through smart systems, cybersecurity, and continuous innovation.
About the responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage ICT infrastructure including hardware, software, networks, systems, and enterprise applications
- Lead and implement the organisation’s ICT strategy aligned to business objectives
- Own the Microsoft 365 and SharePoint strategy, design and adoption across GRNSW
- Manage SharePoint environments including architecture, optimisation, permissions, and governance
- Deliver training, documentation, and support for users across all IT platforms
- Lead ICT-related projects including digital transformation and business process automation
- Design and implement Power Automate and Power Apps solutions to streamline workflows
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data governance, and IT risk management policies
- Guide AI innovation and adoption across departments where it adds operational value
- Oversee procurement, asset management, and ICT budgeting
- Collaborate with departments to assess and deliver tailored tech solutions
- Maintain business continuity tools and practices through tech-led systems
- Continuously scan for and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and collaboration

About You!
- Proven experience in SharePoint Online administration, development, and support
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Teams
- Highly hands-on with a strategic mindset and can balance day-to-day IT operations with long-term technology planning and innovation
- Experience designing and implementing SharePoint workflows and document management solutions
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint-related technical issues
- Strong understanding of SharePoint security, compliance, and governance best practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with non-technical users
- Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
- Relevant IT qualifications or certifications
