Base Salary $103,185 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
As the Health and Wellbeing Officer, you will provide holistic assessment and support to students facing a range of personal and academic challenges. Your work with students will consider academic, social, financial, health, mental health, cultural, educational, and other factors which can impact students’ progression and personal development.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
join a dynamic, diverse and passionate team reporting into the Manager, Wellbeing Services
participate in the development of health advice materials and assist in addressing general student enquiries
demonstrate effective clinical decision-making working with students and University stakeholders
assess cases, provide brief interventions and/or connect students with appropriate ongoing support
champion a proactive approach to health and safety
contribute to a cohesive and collaborative team culture
About you
bachelor’s degree in an Allied Health or related field (i.e. Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy) coupled with a minimum of two years of applied experience.
experience supporting young people and/or students in a clinical setting
demonstrated ability to provide clinical decision-making
effective communication skills, both written and verbal
proficiency in Mandarin would be highly desirable
ability to work cohesively in a team but also work autonomously as required
hold a valid Working with Children Check.
