We have an exciting opportunity for a Home Assurance & QA Inspector (often referred to as a Maintenance & Warranty Supervisor), to join our Home Assurance team as Plantation Homes continues to deliver exceptional service to our New Home customers.

This role is designed to supervise maintenance and warranty work carried out by subcontractors and suppliers to clients' homes.

We have a role available covering the Brisbane West / Ipswich region. This is a permanent, full time opportunity where you'll be provided with a fully maintained vehicle, iPad & phone.

About the Role

Reporting to our Home Assurance Manager, you will leverage your extensive experience in the building industry to oversee the quality assurance stage of the building process, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and materials are maintained to provide warranty and maintenance services for our new home customers.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Directly resolving new home customers' concerns and issues in a professional manner.
  • Ensuring all maintenance and warranty work is completed to Plantation’s quality standards.
  • Complying with legal obligations such as OH&S, building (BCA), energy, fire, and electrical codes.
  • Overseeing contractors, tradespeople, and suppliers onsite.
  • Achieving set maintenance and warranty targets all within set timeframes.
  • Effectively communicating with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conducting Quality Assurance inspections

About You

Ideally, you have a proven track record in a construction, warranty, or building supervisor position with excellent time management skills and the tendency to thrive under pressure.

As a professional communicator with the ability to problem solve, the key to your success will be to professionally engage each task in a well-planned, fully accountable manner where your commitment to service excellence, quality, and delivering results is second to none.

This role requires a resilient, solutions-oriented individual who has strong experience engaging customers across challenging queries. Your ability to engage and address clients' needs, problem solve, and deliver outstanding levels of customer service will define your success.

With residential construction, and trade experience you have a thorough knowledge of current Rescode, Australian Standards, and BCA and your approach to supervising works is by prioritising quality and compliance.
