An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Business Partner to join the Brandbank Group’s dynamic Human Resources team to provide hands-on, strategic support across a defined portfolio.
Reporting into the Group General Manager of People, you will work closely with leaders to drive people strategy, champion culture, drive high performance and support talent at every stage of the employee lifecycle.
This is a true generalist role where no two days are the same. From workforce planning, employee relations, and talent development, to performance, WHS and wellbeing initiatives — you will be a trusted partner, coach, and collaborator across the business.
THE ROLE:
- Lead the implementation of people strategy across your portfolio, aligned with broader business goals.
- Build strong relationships with leaders and teams, providing coaching and advice on all people matters.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to support effective recruitment, workforce planning, and onboarding.
- Drive performance and development processes, and succession management.
- Identify and respond to training needs; support development of learning tools and programs.
- Provide end-to-end support on employee relations matters, from investigations to proactive coaching.
- Collaborate on WHS initiatives and compliance in partnership with the WHS Manager.
- Lead and contribute to key people projects and business change initiatives.
- On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.
- Demonstrated HR generalist experience, with strengths in business partnering and relationship building.
- Experience in recruitment, ER/IR, performance, and change management.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to extract data, provide insights that lead to data driven business decision making
- Sound knowledge of relevant employment legislation and Awards, with the ability to coach and educate others.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to influence and present to stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to juggle priorities, think strategically, and execute with care and efficiency.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset – you’re adaptable, solutions-focused and hands-on.
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline (desirable).
