About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and organised HR Coordinator to support our recruitment, onboarding and HR operations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a capable, compliant and person-centred workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage recruitment advertising, screening, and shortlisting of applicants
- Conduct phone screens and coordinate interviews
- Complete pre-employment checks (NDIS, WWCC, references, qualifications)
- Oversee the onboarding process including orientation and document collection
Compliance & Records Management
- Ensure all new hires meet NDIS workforce capability and compliance standards
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate records for audits and quality reviews
- Monitor completion of mandatory training modules
HR Support & Coordination
- Respond to HR-related enquiries from staff and managers
- Assist with employee communications and engagement initiatives
- Support performance management and policy implementation as required
Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams (rostering, support coordination, operations) to understand workforce needs
- Contribute to reporting and continuous improvement in recruitment and HR practices
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in recruitment, HR, or a similar coordination role
- Strong understanding of NDIS worker screening and onboarding processes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident using Microsoft Office and recruitment systems
- Experience in disability, aged care or community services
- Certificate IV or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar
Compliance Requirements
- Cleared NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check.
- Valid driver’s licence
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
