We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join our team as an Individual Support Trainee. As an Individual Support Trainee, you will be placed with one of our Host Employers and play a crucial role in assisting individuals with their daily living activities, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being. This is a 24-month paid traineeship.
Duties may include but not limited to:
· Assist individuals with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
· Support individuals in maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
· Foster a positive and empowering atmosphere that promotes independence and dignity.
· Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients.
· Help individuals with meal preparation and nutritional support.
· Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or mental conditions to the appropriate personnel.
· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual care plans.
· Maintain accurate documentation and records related to client care.
· Sleep over shifts
· Any other tasks reasonably requested by the host employer

· Must be willing to undertake a Certificate III in Individual Support as part of the traineeship.
· Essential requirements Driver’s license and reliable transport
· Ability to provide a National Police Check
· Able to obtain a Blue/Yellow Card
· Applicants must be able to provide documentation of vaccinations, including those related to Flu/Covid-19 if required.
