At Sodexo, we understand that people are at the heart of everything we do. We're seeking a compassionate, detail-driven Injury Management Coordinator to support our employees through their recovery and return-to-work journey. This role is pivotal in ensuring injured team members are cared for professionally, respectfully, and in full compliance with our obligations.
You’ll work closely with internal teams, insurers, healthcare professionals, and operational leaders to manage injury claims, promote recovery, and enable a safe and sustainable return to work.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage the end-to-end injury management process, including return-to-work plans for both work-related and non-work-related injuries.
Liaise with injured workers, insurers, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders to drive timely, cost-effective, and sustainable recovery outcomes.
Ensure compliance with national workers’ compensation legislation and company policies, including accurate claims documentation and record-keeping.
Provide regular reporting and insights to leaders on injury trends, claim status, and performance metrics to support decision-making.
Facilitate medical case conferences and participate in insurer reviews to influence claim outcomes and support worker recovery.
Deliver internal training and promote a strong safety and wellbeing culture across the business.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in injury management, return to work coordination, or workers’ compensation.
Knowledge of Australian workers’ compensation legislation and injury management practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism.
Relevant qualifications in injury management, allied health, rehabilitation, or a related field (preferred).
A proactive, caring approach to helping others return to health and meaningful work.
