Job Description
Grow your career with a global retailer as an Injury Management Specialist within our Safety team at ALDI Australia, based in Derrimut. This is a permanent full-time position.
In this role, you will join a team that stands as the cornerstone of ALDI's commitment to safety. Our Workplace Safety and Health team does more than just abide by rules and regulations; we create them, prioritising the well-being of our employees above all else. Our responsibilities range from developing and implementing health and safety policies to identifying and mitigating potential risks, ensuring that our workers operate in a safe, healthy environment every day.

What does the role look like?
- Assist in the management of work-related and non-work-related injuries which includes the use of WHS IT systems
- Coordinate and provide guidance on Injury Management activities
- Liaise, consult, and meet with relevant stakeholders, e.g.: injured workers, treating practitioners, insurer, and regulator where applicable
- Actively manage your area of responsibility by using initiative, suggesting ways of improving systems for greater efficiency
- Provide implementation support for projects and managing ongoing business as usual (BAU)
- Ensure ALDI is compliant with all current legislative obligations and engaging in best practice injury management
Qualifications
- Proven demonstrated experience in injury management managing a portfolio of claims
- Knowledge of Injury Management practices and/or work, health and safety best practice and legislation
- Experience with reporting and Injury Management Claims Systems
- Sound knowledge of VIC Worker Compensation Legislation is highly regarded
- Excellent stakeholder management skills to effectively communicate and support both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with Solv Injury and/or Safety Online is highly regarded

Remuneration
- Transparent tiered salary range of $114,700 - $136,800 including Superannuation.
