We are hiring for two positions within the Communication section. The Communication section supports Geoscience Australia to effectively engage key stakeholders and the general public in the work of Geoscience Australia. It comprises several teams of communication specialists managing strategic communication, internal communication, media and ministerial engagement, speechwriting, events, graphic design, video and multimedia production, social media and digital engagement, web publication, and cartography.
In the Internal Communication Officer, Organisational Transformation Program (OTP) role, you will be a critical player in the OTP Change Management team, crafting and delivering engaging internal communication that drive employee engagement and help to uplift awareness and capability. This role involves supporting change management activities by creating compelling internal content for newsletters, emails, intranet updates, presentations and training materials, ensuring all communications are clear, consistent, and aligned with OTP's goals.
In the Internal Communication Officer role, you will successfully deliver communication plans and activity to ensure that staff across Geoscience Australia are well informed and feel proud to be part of a successful organisation.
