About the Role: It is an exciting time to join the Brown Family Wine Group as we introduce this new position of Inventory Controller to manage inventory across our Milawa and 3PL warehouses.
The Inventory Controller will play a key role, working closely with the warehouse, production, finance and broader supply chain team, to oversee inventory transactions, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and maintain outstanding inventory accuracy levels to ensure inventory positioning aligns with operational requirements.
Skills and Experiences:
Role Requirements: We are seeking a motivated team player, who has a significant level of supply chain management and inventory control experience. Ideally candidates will also have:
- Relevant certifications in logistics or supply chain management are highly desirable
- Experience implementing quality assurance and inventory management systems including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Strong attention to detail with experience in cost management, data & analytics and reporting skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex logistics challenges
- Experience working with varying stakeholders to deliver process improvement
- Understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) laws and management requirements
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
- Valid driver’s licence, and forklift licence beneficial
