As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Information Systems (IS) Procurement Business Partner to join our team. Within this role you will build and lead the IS procurement function from the ground up, directly partnering with our most senior stakeholders across the business. This is a highly autonomous role where you will define and execute IS procurement strategies, manage global supplier relationships, and drive value through sourcing, innovation, and integration.
You will collaborate across Technology, Legal, Risk, M&A, and other business units to shape the future of procurement in one of Australia’s most dynamic and fastest-growing tech companies.
What you will do in this role:
- Develop and implement scalable, global IS procurement and category strategies across software, SaaS, cloud, and services.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing projects and complex commercial negotiations.
- Partner with IS leadership to embed procurement into strategic planning and decision-making.
- Design and manage the IS supplier governance framework, including full contract lifecycle management.
- Create and standardize procurement processes, tools, templates, and collateral tailored to IS.
- Support post-M&A integration by rationalizing supplier portfolios and aligning procurement strategies.
- Monitor IS spend, supplier performance, and value delivery across all categories.
- Embed third-party risk management (TPRM) controls into sourcing and contract workflows.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- 8–10+ years’ experience in IT/ICT/IS procurement or commercial roles within complex, global technology-driven organizations.
- Deep category expertise across software, cloud, SaaS, and digital platforms.
- Proven stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior levels.
- Strong background in supplier governance, contract management, and risk frameworks.
- High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Strong analytical skills with experience supporting executive decisions using data and insights.
- MCIPS or equivalent (preferred), along with NCMA certification (desirable).
- Familiarity with Agile or Prince2 methodologies is advantageous.
