- Develop and execute IT infrastructure and digitalisation strategies to support smart factory operations, including production automation, real-time monitoring, and data-driven manufacturing.
- Oversee the planning, design, and deployment of digital platforms such as ERP, MES, OA, WMS, and SRM tailored for high-throughput PV module production.
- Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, and quality departments to gather business requirements and transform them into integrated system solutions that optimise manufacturing and operational performance.
- Direct the implementation of intelligent data platforms (e.g., BI systems) for solar production analytics, financial reporting, and energy efficiency tracking.
- Drive the digital architecture for newly built smart factories, including weak-current systems, IoT integration, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless automation and traceability across the PV production chain.
- Manage IT governance and internal information security frameworks (ISO27001), ensuring robust protection of proprietary PV technologies, operational data, and intellectual property.
- Monitor and coordinate progress of ICT projects, prepare project reports and dashboards for senior leadership, and ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Supervise and mentor IT teams, enforce SOPs and SLAs, and support continuous improvement initiatives to accelerate PV innovation cycles and reduce time-to-market.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies such as AI-powered defect detection, digital twins, and predictive maintenance tools to improve solar module quality and operational sustainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT Manager roles within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Solid experience with OA systems and network infrastructure; working knowledge of ERP and MES systems.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities, with proven project management and documentation skills.
