Your opportunity
Working within our Seniors Living or Aged Care teams, you’ll support the preparation and delivery of meals that are nutritious, safe, and enjoyable. From ensuring clean kitchen environments to ensuring food service excellence, you’ll play a vital role in residents' daily lives – and help bring moments of joy to mealtimes.
With care and professionalism, you will:
- Ensure meals meet dietary and presentation standards
- Maintain safe and hygienic kitchen, dining and storage areas
- Supervise and support servery staff to deliver high-quality customer service
- Monitor and report resident behaviour and meal feedback
- Collaborate with management to plan orders and liaise with local suppliers
- Contribute to a strong safety culture through safe work practices
What you’ll bring
You’re a reliable, compassionate, and service-oriented hospitality professional who takes pride in supporting others and working as part of a team. You understand the importance of respectful care and warm dining experiences for older people.
You’ll also need:
- Previous experience in a servery or hospitality/kitchen environment
- Food Safety and Handling Certificate (desirable)
- A commitment to Anglicare’s values of integrity, justice, compassion, and excellence
- A collaborative approach and willingness to participate in continuous improvement
