Salary: $120,772 plus 12% superannuation and salary packaging

About the role

As the Learning & Development Specialist, you will lead and deliver dynamic learning solutions that build capability and career growth at Housing Choices Australia. You’ll shape and implement talent and leadership development strategies that drive performance, enhance culture, and future-proof our workforce.

This role is perfect for someone passionate about leading change, developing people, and embedding a high-performance, values-led culture.

Design and deliver learning and leadership development initiatives that enhance career growth and organisational capability.
Manage our Learning Management System (LMS) and performance platforms to support scalable learning solutions.
Partner closely with leaders to identify skills gaps and implement impactful learning programs.
Lead onboarding and induction initiatives that create exceptional new starter experiences.

About the team

The Transformation group drives organisational innovation, change management, and continuous improvement across Housing Choices Australia. It leads initiatives designed to enhance operational effectiveness, streamline service delivery, and build capacity to adapt to evolving housing demands and technological advancements. This group ensures the organisation remains agile and responsive, well-positioned to meet future challenges and opportunities.

Skills and Experiences:
About you

You will have:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field (plus Cert IV in Training & Development).
5+ years’ experience in a senior L&D or Organisational Development role, ideally with experience leading leadership, talent and capability programs.
Strong influencing, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
Expertise in managing LMS platforms, developing multi-modal learning solutions, and applying adult learning principles.
A collaborative approach and a genuine passion for learning, growth and continuous improvement.

You must agree to undergo any required employment screening, including but not limited to a National Criminal History or Police Check, Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
