About the role
The Clinical Product Manager provides the focus and coordination for selection, evaluation and implementation of all new clinical products and those existing with significant changes to specification. You will be is responsible for ensuring that clinical products / equipment provided throughout Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) complies with NSW Ministry of Health Purchasing and Supply policies and procedures, NSW Ministry of Health directives, State Contracts and relevant standards.
You will provide a high level customer service and support to WNSWLHD to ensure access to required clinical products to provide patient care. Day-to-day basis you will work with Clinicians, vendors and colleagues within Ministry of Health and other Local Health Districts to ensure the clinical purchasing process achieves a cost-effective and 'best fit' outcome for patients and clinicians.
This role is in a very dynamic space with increased focus on procurement within Health Care and involved in significant reform projects. This role requires an analytical eye, strong customer service and relationship management skills and a commitment to efficient and effective clinical care.
Continuous education and development is essential for this role and is strongly supported by the leadership team
