About the role:
The Manager, Funding Modelling and Costing will lead activities that are critical for the departments understanding, ongoing implementation, and monitoring of the National Funding Model outlined under the National Health Reform Agreement including undertaking robust modelling of cost and funding changes, including system level benchmarking.

About you:

People Management: Aligns team with the organisational values and goals through effective people management and modelling; maximises effectiveness by selecting, developing, managing and motivating a high performing team; clearly defines role expectations, monitors performance, provides timely and constructive feedback and facilitates employee development; ensures staff are effectively deployed through effective workforce planning practices.
- Project Management: Translates strategies into programs or projects that enables achievement of outcomes require; Defines governance e.g. success measures, roles and responsibilities, progress monitoring) required to manage risks and maximise probability of success; engage key stakeholders at senior levels; Balances the needs of clients, team, and the organisation.
Qualifications
A tertiary qualification in fields related to finance, health policy, business and/or management would be desirable.
