What’s the role?
As the Manager, Product Governance, you will support Compliance to oversight the design, distribution, and ongoing monitoring of banking products, to ensure they deliver fair customer outcomes and meet compliance expectations under frameworks such as the Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO), Banking Code of Practice, and APRA Prudential Standards.
Reporting to the Practice Lead, Remediation & Product Governance, you will promote best practice in product governance, collaborate with Compliance and Risk teams, and monitor risks, issues, and outcomes to ensure effective compliance strategy and strong governance across the business.
What do I need?
- Experience advising on product governance and distribution practices, including advising on supporting frameworks and policies (highly desired)
- Experience conducting monitoring activities, including analysing data/metrics, monitoring controls/issues and providing insights to stakeholders (highly desired)
- Stakeholder management across various levels and across multiple teams
- Substantial experience within financial services, regulator bodies or legal firms.
- Degree qualified, minimum of a bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines Business, Risk or legal (essential)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
