SACA is looking for Match Day Concierge’s to join our Membership team. The Match Day Concierge will play a crucial role within the Membership team, providing exceptional customer service to SACA Members and their guests.
The Match Day Concierge team will welcome SACA Members and their guests into the SACA Members’ Area. You will provide a high level of face-to-face customer service and ensure patrons entering the SACA Members’ Area adhere to the SACA Member Dress Standards. You will carry out all responsibilities in an efficient, professional and conscientious manner and in accordance with SACA’s standards and code of conduct.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to all Members and their guests
- Meet and greet patrons seeking or gaining admission to the SACA Members’ Area
- Ensure that patrons accessing the Member’s Area adhere to the SACA Member Dress Standards
- Deny entry to patrons not complying with the Dress Standards
- Respond to all comments and feedback in a prompt and friendly manner
- Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all patrons accessing the SACA Members’ Area
- You will hold a valid Working with Children Check or have the ability to obtain one.

- Availability for all major events during the cricket season (October-March).
- You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide quality customer service and positively interact with people
- You have an ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with a wide range of people
- You are organised and flexible in your approach with excellent time management skills
- You have the stamina and desire to work in a fast-paced environment, under direction and with limited supervision
- You have a positive attitude with a passion for providing outstanding customer service
- You have a high work ethic, commitment to professionalism and flexibility
- You have problem solving capabilities and can respond to potential conflicts under pressure to contribute to a safe experience for all patrons
- Ideally you will possess a general knowledge, respect and understanding of a sporting environment
About SACA
The SACA is one of the nation’s premier sporting bodies, with a vision for cricket to be Australia’s favorite sport – a sport for all Australian’s. Operating within the sports and entertainment industry, SACA offers an exciting and dynamic working environment, and is responsible for overseeing and developing cricket on a State level.
The SACA is responsible for coordinating international and domestic cricket matches, Premier cricket matches and community carnivals, coaching and development and pathway programs for girls and boys, coaching, umpiring, volunteer development and ground management. It also administers high performance cricket in South Australia, including the SA Men’s and Women’s Teams and Adelaide Strikers women’s and men’s teams.
