Our clinic in Port Macquarie Base Hospital is currently seeking a Medical Imaging Assistant to join the team.
The role is a casual position, reporting to the Chief MIT. The clinic runs seven days per week, with shifts between 6am - Midnight.
This position is a great opportunity for a Medical Imaging student to gain experience in a Radiology clinic.
Role Overview:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with transferring patients between the wards and the clinic via hospital beds and wheelchairs
- Act as a chaperone for procedures/services with patients as requested
- Perform patient identification processes
- Treat patients in a caring, friendly, and professional manner at all times
What we're looking for:
Availability to cover sick leave and annual leave as required.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Physical ability to transport patients around the hospital.
