Our team have the support of management, registered nurses and OTs. About you, our potential new staff member:
- You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to supports our clients with passion, skill and unconditional acceptance.
- You will have a minimum of 12 months experience working with clients who experience complex behaviours and mental health diagnosis.
- You are able to build trust with new people and interact with others in a motivating and engaging manner.
- You understand the concepts of positive behaviour support and are willing to undertake training to understand the needs of the individual you are supporting.
What you will need to be shortlisted to interview stage:
- Minimum of a certificate III in individual support or similar – mental health qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Mental Health First Aid – or be prepared to get one prior to commencing work
- Have a NDIS workers Screening clearance
- Current first aid & CPR certificate
- Car with current registration and comprehensive insurance
- Current drivers licence
- Working with Children’s Check
- NDIS training modules
