Clover Pathways Pty Ltd are seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Disability Mentors (multiple positions) to join our team and support individuals living with disability in achieving greater independence, confidence, and inclusion in their daily lives.
As a Mentor, you’ll work alongside NDIS participants to build life skills, foster community connections, and support personal goals — all while promoting dignity, respect, and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one mentoring and support to people with disabilities in line with their individual goals.
- Encourage skill development in areas such as social interaction, daily living, community participation, and/or employment.
- Foster positive relationships based on trust, empathy, and mutual respect.
- Support participants in accessing services and navigating challenges with confidence.
- Promote independence while providing a safe and supportive environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress with relevant stakeholders (where appropriate).
- Support engagement with non-accredited training run by Clover Pathways Pty Ltd
What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for working with people of all abilities and backgrounds.
- Experience in disability support, mentoring, community services, or a related field (lived experience also highly valued).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with empathy, integrity, and professionalism.
- Understanding of person-centered approaches and the NDIS framework (or willingness to learn).
Requirements:
- Current Police Check
- Valid Working With Vulnerable People card with NDIS Worker Screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport
- Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Desirable:
- Cert IV Mental Health, Mentoring, Individual Support or equivalent
- Minimum Cert III Disability
