What you'll do
Sorting of soiled linen
Feeding linen into production equipment to fold and iron.
Hand fold of linen
Packing of clean linen
Distribution of linen at facilities
Operation of tug equipment
Delivery of clean linen to wards
Collection of soiled linen from wards
General cleaning duties, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, rubbish collection and removal in all areas of the facility.
Other cleaning duties as required.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
Demonstrated ability to effectively use automated machinery and some computerised equipment.
Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders and team members and ability to effectively communicate and influence staff.
Please note:
This is a manual handling position requiring you to:
repetitive manual handling of laundry items
feeding linen into machines
handling linen items
sorting soiled linen.
Some workstations require the use of specialised PPE.
