About the role
- Team Global Express is seeking an Operations Administrator / Freight Coordinator to join our Team in Karawatha on Brisbane’s Southside.
- This is a Permanent Full Time position, Monday to Friday (8am Starts)
- This is a hands on role that will require you to be in the office as well as on the floor managing and coordinating freight queries in real time
- Assist customers with their depot collections and drop offs
- Assist customers with unidentified freight, repacks and damages
- Assist with freight related escalations and investigations
- Ensure all staff and visitors in the customer area are safe at all time
- Provide timely, accurate and thorough information in response to customer queries and escalations through inbound and outbound customer contact.
- Inspect and investigate freight throughout the Depot, speaking with staff members on the floor to assist in solving any issues
- Scanning Freight (RF) in order to identify issues and solutions
- Manage a busy Email inbox: liaising back and forth with our Customer Service Team to assist them with investigating freight and organising return labels to senders
- Use inhouse databases and systems to update information on a daily basis

- This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks throughout the day.
- Candidates must be able to successfully complete a Pre-Employment Medical assessment in accordance with role requirements and Work Health & Safety standards.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills are essential.
- Proficiency in administration and data entry is required.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety is expected.
