Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised professional to lead and manage the operations of Epworth Eastern, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and efficient use of resources.
The Operations Manager is a key leadership role and is a member of the Epworth Eastern Executive team, holding responsibility for the delivery of key operational priorities that benefit hospital access and flow, patient services centre, patient experience and hospital operational efficiency as well as providing day to day operational management of planned and unplanned infrastructure/IT works and coordination of emergency management and Business Continuity processes across the site.
Using clinical knowledge and experience to provide a strategic approach to optimising operational efficiency for access and flow initiatives across the Hospital, the Operations Manager will lead and coordinate operational projects and initiatives across the site/ Epworth wide to support hospital performance.
You will operates at an operational and strategic level to identify and implement service improvements and opportunities for service growth and expansion, and work in close partnership with senior leaders to prioritise, plan and roadmap the delivery of key initiatives and projects across Epworth Eastern.

Qualifications
You will have:
· Previous experience in a leadership or management role.
· Providing strong leadership with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Recent experience in project management and delivery
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Current AHPRA nursing registration or eligible for AHPRA registration
· Demonstrate a strong, supportive, collaborative, and engaging style
· Well-developed proactive time management and prioritisation skills
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Commitment to your own professional development
· Ability to work within a team focused environment
· Passion about patient centred care grounded in high quality clinical outcomes
