The National Operations Coordination Team (NOCT) is responsible for scheduling training and rostering of skilled resources. On a daily basis, the NOCT liaises with leaders across the Bureau to ensure appropriate resources are activated with sufficient lead time.
While located in National Production Services, within Community Service Group (CSG) this role will support the functions of Aviation, Land and Maritime Transport (ALMT) operations within Business Services Group as well as National Production Services (NPS), Environmental Prediction Services (EPS) and Decision Support Services (DSS) within CSG.
Reporting to the National Operations Coordination Team Lead, the primary responsibilities for this role are to support resource planning in response to operational needs and impacts, focusing on short-term (0-7 day) resource demands and allocation, as well as monitoring and planning for longer term (weeks, months, seasonal) operational capacity.
You will provide support to NOCT Team Lead, Planning and Operations Lead and broader National Operations Coordination Team in managing operational response, and liaise with operational leaders across various groups as required to ensure that appropriate resources and rosters are activated and established as required, with sufficient lead time.
