About the role
Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking an Orderly to join our team on a casual basis. This role will see you working as part of our rotational roster with flexible shift times available. In this role you will work within a supportive team to ensure our patients have a great experience during their stay with us.

Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 336 bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct. Specialities include and are not limited to 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology. - Patient Assistance and transfers including the use of lifting machine and bed movers.
- General housekeeping duties e.g. cleaning beds, organising linen, restocking of equipment, and waste management
- Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
- Cultivating a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients
- Work as an active team member to support all work tasks
- Remove dirty linen / ensure clean linen is readily available
Essential Criteria:
- Cert 3 in Health Services or interest in obtaining
- Experience as an orderly in a hospital environment preferred
- Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement
- Working with Children check
- Commitment to service excellence
- Ability to prioritise and organise work, with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High level attention to detail
