Anglicare is seeking a compassionate permanent full time, Pastoral Care Worker to provide holistic, Christian-based support to seniors across various settings including homes, hospitals, and wellness centers. While traveling across Northern Beaches and North Shore. This role focuses on nurturing spiritual and emotional wellbeing through personalized engagement, listening, support and sharing the love of Jesus.
Your Opportunity
- Provide empathetic pastoral care to seniors and their families.
- Visit clients in diverse settings to offer spiritual support.
- Collaborate with Chaplains and care teams for holistic client support.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality.
- Support staff and relatives as needed.
- Promote Christian faith through prayer and Bible reading.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in Christian ministry or pastoral care (essential).
- Theological studies or commitment to undertake (preferred).
- Cert III/IV in aged/pastoral care (preferred).
- Active WWCC registration.
- Valid NSW Driver’s License with insurance coverage.
