The Opportunity:
We’re thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented People and Culture Business Partner with specialist expertise in Employment Relations to join our dynamic and collaborative team.
This expansive role is accountable across a broad spectrum of P&C functions, including Human Resources, Employee Relations, Organisational Development, Work Health and Safety.
In this hands-on role, you’ll play a pivotal part in providing pragmatic, solutions-focused support to leaders and employees across designated group(s) within Benson Radiology. Working closely with our P&C Operations Manager and the broader P&C team, you'll be the go-to adviser on a broad range of people related matters.
You'll help drive a best-practice employment framework and practices in a South Australian grown organisation committed to making a difference.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality, values-led business partnering support to a designated portfolio within Benson Radiology.
- Advising leaders and executives on a broad range of people related matters.
- Supporting complex industrial and employee relations matters, including industrial compliance, complex investigations, commission attendance, enterprise bargaining, and employee relations strategy and planning.
- Supporting operational partners to build and maintain an engaged culture and safe systems of work.
- Facilitating best practice consultation processes that recognise the key role our people play in the effective and safe implementation of workforce change.
- Developing, reviewing and advising on people policies, procedures and frameworks to ensure compliance with respective instruments / legislation and delivery of best practice.
- Supporting fitness for work, injury management and return to work processes. Processes that safely support workers (who are injured) to return to work.
- Contributing to the transformation of people processes through simplification of internal processes and systemisation activities.
- Promoting and supporting a high-performing and values-driven culture through leadership coaching, and capability development.
- Building trusted and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders including leaders, employees, unions, industry bodies and suppliers.
- Identifying opportunities to improve organisational performance via delivery of People and Culture functions.
- Championing Benson Radiology’s Values of Patient Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and Personal Excellence in everything you do.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 5 years + proven ability to manage a diverse and high-volume P&C business partner workload with minimal supervision (preferably in a Healthcare setting).
- Strong understanding of employee relations, including legislative / instrument interpretation, dispute handling, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
- Sound knowledge of employment & WHS legislation, Enterprise Agreements, and Award interpretation.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations/Employee Relations, Employment Law or a similar qualification.
- Experience building constructive relationships with employee representatives and delegates as well as representing employers at the Fair Work commission.
- Solid data analysis skills, to source and manipulate data to identify trends, issues, and corrective actions.
