The Role:
The Performance Marketing Coordinator supports the execution and optimization of paid media campaigns across Hype DC's eCommerce and marketing initiatives. This role focuses on driving customer acquisition and retention through various digital channels, ensuring efficient budget utilization and strong return on investment. Collaborating closely with the Marketing and Digital teams, the coordinator ensures cohesive campaign strategies and a seamless customer journey from ad engagement to on-site experience. The role also supports the media execution for SUBTYPE.
Your key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Paid Media Campaign Execution
• Plan, execute and monitor the performance of paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, and other relevant channels.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and alignment of campaign assets.
• Monitor campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to inform optimization strategies.
Budget Management & Performance Optimization
• Assist in managing and tracking campaign budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and strong return on investment (ROI).
• Analyse performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
• Continuously test and optimize audiences, creatives, bidding strategies, and landing pages to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Audience Segmentation & Customer Data Platform (CDP) Utilization
• Collaborate with CRM and Marketing teams to build and activate audience segments using our Customer Data Platform (Amperity) to support acquisition, retention, and win-back strategies.
• Ensure audience segments are effectively integrated into campaign targeting across all platforms.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with the Ecommerce & Marketing team trade calendar to align campaigns with key brand, product, and promotional trade priorities.
• Partner with the Digital team to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer journey, from ad engagement to on-site experience.
• Assist the Digital team in implementing SEO best practices ensuring alignment across paid and organic channels.
• Collaborate with Affiliates lead and identify new scalable performance opportunities
Reporting & Analysis
• Support the preparation of reports summarizing campaign outcomes, including profitability, eCommerce revenue, Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), and Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), using tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Looker Studio.
• Deliver clear campaign reporting and insights to stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.
• Stay informed about industry trends and platform changes to keep performance efforts future- focused and competitive.
What we are looking for:
• 2 years of experience in performance marketing or paid media in ecommerce or retail
• Proven track record managing campaigns across paid search, paid social and remarketing channels
• Good knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Merchant Centre, and audience segmentation tools
• Experience co-ordinating monthly budgets and optimising for ROI & profitability
• Ability to manage multiple campaign types (acquisition, retention, win-back)
• Commercial mindset with clear understanding of key ecommerce KPIs
• Collaborative approach with the ability to align campaigns to brand and product direction
• Good analytical skills and experience using tools like GA4 and Looker Studio
