We’re seeking a dedicated and organised Senior Receptionist to join our friendly Speech Pathology clinic in Blacktown. If you genuinely care about people and have a heart for service, bringing calm and order to a busy environment, this role could be a wonderful fit for you.
This role is Hybrid, allowing you to flexibly work from home. Pay Range is $35-38/hr depending on your experience, with the option to opt for a higher casual rate. Hours per week are 30-38hrs depending on the workload demands. Student applicants will be rejected as we are looking for someone long term and dedicated to the job.

Your Speech Room is a well-established private practice with a team of 12 speech pathologists. We support children and families with a range of communication and developmental needs. What you’ll be doing
- Welcoming clients with warmth and professionalism;
- Answering phone calls and emails with clarity and care;
- Processing payments including Medicare and Health Fund claims;
- Managing accounts receivable/payable with integrity;
- Ensuring compliance in HR and payroll functions;
- Preparing and maintaining client documents with confidentiality;
- Managing team schedules and supporting staff needs with empathy;
- Overseeing daily operations and continuously improving how we serve;
- Helping to ensure our services meet best-practice and compliance standards (WHS, SPA, NDIS);
- Working closely with the Director to track and improve practice performance;
- Contributing to a culture of encouragement, respect, and excellence in all client interactions.
Who we’re looking for
- Someone calm, dependable, and gracious under pressure;
- A strong communicator who genuinely enjoys helping others;
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail;
- Tech-savvy and confident using software (Cliniko, Xero, Google Drive etc.);
- At least 2 years’ experience in admin/management, preferably healthcare;
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with a servant-hearted mindset;
- Someone who brings positivity and unity to a team setting;
- An understanding of healthcare compliance is ideal.
Note: This role is not suitable for students. We’re seeking someone ready to grow with us for the long term.
