About The Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Support Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. You will provide coordination and administrative support across project activities, with a strong focus on risk and opportunity management. A key responsibility of the role includes preparing risk submissions and representing the project at monthly Risk Management Boards
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and coordinate the project risk and opportunity register.
- Prepare risk documentation and represent risks at monthly governance forums.
- Support project governance activities including meetings, reporting, and action tracking.
- Assist with project scheduling, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
- Monitor milestones and support continuous improvement of project tools and processes.
About You:
- Experience in project support, including risk coordination and reporting.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities within part-time hours.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Familiarity with ISO 31000 and defence Risk management methodologies
- Experience within Defence, Maritime Domain
- Qualification in Project Management, Risk Management, or related discipline.
- PRINCE2 methodologies.
- Experience preparing materials for governance boards or committees
- Experience within Maritime Sustainment Division and/or within Maritime System Program Offices.
