The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Quality Control Monitor to join our team and ensure compliance with Australian Standards and Customer/Country requirements. You will be responsible for monitoring each production area, conducting regular inspections, and collaborating with the production team to implement corrective actions. Key Responsibilities
Perform timely and thorough pre-operational inspections of designated areas and undertake necessary corrective actions.
Monitor the hygiene and cleanliness of operators and Personal Protective Equipment
Perform metal detector and x-ray machine checks and undertake required corrective action.
Monitor and report the hygiene and sanitation procedures during processing in each area.
Monitor air and water temperatures.
Regularly check, read, and reply to emails.
Conduct hygiene checks including carton meat assessment and meat hygiene assessment.
Complete the required electronic and hard copy forms daily, ensure to record all findings, corrective actions, follow-up actions and sign off once completed.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Essential:
Flexibility to work shift rosters and weekends as required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and Outlook
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards
Desirable (but not required, we can train the right person):
HACCP training or understanding of food safety systems
Experience with Beef Specification Training (Level 2)
Qualification as an AUS-MEAT Standards Officer
Certificate IV in Meat Processing or related industry qualification
Familiarity with EMYDEX and Tiny Tag monitoring systems
