Job Description
About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Machinery Operator to join our team across AACo’s VRG properties. You’ll be operating a range of agricultural machinery to support day-to-day station operations. If you’re someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in doing things well, and thrives in a team that backs each other, this could be your next opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate graders to maintain station roads and fire breaks in line with grading guidelines
- Carry out general maintenance and upkeep of machinery
- Drive trucks, including side tippers and machinery floats
- Conduct general property observations
- Follow operational guidelines when using machinery
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
- Support with general station duties as directed by the manager
Desired Skills and Experience
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience operating graders, loaders, and excavators is an advantage
- MC licence (not essential, but advantageous)
- Appropriate licences to operate relevant machinery
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
