What does this role entail?
Reporting into the Head of Remuneration and Benefits, this position is responsible for providing advice and support across the remuneration framework and benefits programs for the organisation. You will leverage your expertise and analytical skills while supporting the execution of the organisation’s fixed and variable remuneration programs. The successful applicant will be expected to deliver accurate and strategic operational advice to internal stakeholders and undertake detailed reporting and analysis on remuneration practices.

What does a day in the life of the Remuneration Advisor look like?
  • Maintain the internal job grading system and conduct job evaluations using Mercer CED Job Evaluation methodology
  • Undertake market review, analysis and benchmarking to guide decisions for role specific remuneration, ensuring remuneration is positioned appropriately to be competitive, compliant, and support business objectives
  • Support the execution of cyclical remuneration activities, including the annual remuneration review and annualised salary reviews
  • Contribute to benefit policy development and review to support a compelling employee value proposition
  • Assist in the design and delivery of recognition and benefits programs, and review the effectiveness of existing ones
  • Assist in the preparation of Sigma’s annual Remuneration Report
  • Support the development and submission of external reporting requirements such as salary survey submissions and gender pay gap reporting
  • Assist with the preparation of papers for the Nomination & Remuneration Committee and the Board

What do I need to bring to this role?
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3+ years in a remuneration/reward position in an ASX listed environment
  • Professional work experience in the Healthcare industry desirable but not essential
  • Significant experience managing the administration of remuneration and benefits programs
  • Accredited in conducting job evaluations (Mercer CED preferred)
  • Experienced with HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors preferred)
  • The ability to demonstrate successful stakeholder management with the ability to influence and build strong relationships internally and with external networks
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Mercer WIN and Data Connector (desirable)
