Gilbert's Fresh Market Hilton is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Deli and Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our deli department. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for retail and a proven ability to drive sales, manage staff, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Candidates must be available to work evenings and on weekends. Shifts will be from Tuesday to Saturday, 11:30am-7:30pm and hours may vary.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of deli and production operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of retail and production staff to achieve production targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Ensure the departments are well-maintained, clean, and organized.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock effectively.
- Manage production of meals.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for both staff and customers.
- Implement company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of Business, Finance and Management.
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Up to date Food Handling and Safety training.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- A passion for retail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
