About the role
In this role you will support the maintenance and reliability of the new X’Trapolis 2.0 (XT2) fleet by managing rotable parts, handling warranty claims and working closely with key suppliers to make sure everything meets quality standards are the right processes are followed.
This is a 24 month contract based at our Craigieburn Deport working 7am – 3pm onsite Monday – Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Support XT2 Fleet Maintenance by managing inventory and ensuring materials align with the Train Maintenance Plan
- Look after the warranty process by checking if parts are covered, track faulty parts, following up on repairs and complete all warranty documentation
- Raise purchase and repair orders, manage delivery times and handle variations in orders
- Work closely with technical, planning and procurement teams and liase with suppliers to resolve any issues
- Inspect incoming goods, verify serial numbers and documentation and raise reports for any issues
About you
- Experience working in a similar position in a logistics and warehouse environment
- Valid and current Victorian drivers licence including a forklift licence
- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding of OH&S and environmental practices
- Experience in setting up supply chain processes and tracking stock/parts
