We are on a mission to create inspired, work-ready professionals through quality, flexible and supported education and are currently seeking an experienced Quality and Compliance Officer to join our Team.
About the role
The Quality and Compliance Officer is part of the team that is responsible for ensuring we operate to the highest industry standards and have outstanding systems to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with RTO requirements across the entire student journey.
Some of the duties of this role include:
- Prepare for and participate in internal and external compliance audits for both ASQA and state-funded programs.
- Support relationships with relevant government authorities in relation to RTO compliance.
- Support the registration and management of Third-Party Contracts (ASQANet).
- Assist with the submission of data reporting to relevant bodies (AVETMISS).
- Support and administer training package transition and change of scope activities.
- Participate in and support validation activities.
- Assist in the administration and review of Trainer Profiles.
- Undertake course documentation and website material reviews.
- Support the maintenance and completion of CQI Registers and assist with CI activities
- Support Risk Management processes, particularly in regard to compliance risk.
- Support the creation and training of policies and procedures.
About You
We are seeking a passionate Quality and Compliance Officer with:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an RTO compliance role.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the application of state and federal funding programs.
- Demonstrated understanding of the RTO Standards and the VET Industry.
- Demonstrated experience participating in internal and external audits
- CIV Training and Assessment would be highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) as well as high level interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated time management, with the capacity to work to deadlines, always maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to use own initiative and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent internal and external stakeholder management with the ability to influence and advocate.
